Doctor's Orders Mobile Collection Services, LLC
What we do
We are a mobile specimen collection service. We come to your home or office, draw your blood or collect your specimen, and transport it to the laboratory named on your order, typically Quest or LabCorp. The lab runs the tests. The lab sends the results to the provider who ordered them.
What we do not do
We do not diagnose. We do not treat. We do not order labs for you, and we do not order labs for ourselves. We do not interpret your results or tell you what they mean. We are not your doctor and nothing on this website is medical advice. Every clinical question goes to the provider who wrote your order.
No order, no draw
Any test that requires a provider's order requires that order in our hands before we collect. Send it to [email protected] ahead of your appointment or hand a physical copy to the phlebotomist at the time of the draw. Either works. Missing does not.
If the order is not provided, the appointment is canceled and your mobile service fee is not refunded. That applies whether we cancel in advance because nothing came through or the phlebotomist is already standing at your door. This is disclosed at booking and acknowledged by checkbox before payment.
Consent
Before or at the time of service you will sign our Mobile Phlebotomy Consent Form. By signing it you certify that the requested tests were ordered by your provider, and you authorize us to deliver your specimens to the designated laboratory, which will return your results directly to your ordering provider.
Venipuncture carries ordinary risks including bruising, swelling, soreness, lightheadedness, and fainting. By consenting to the procedure you acknowledge those risks and release Doctor's Orders Mobile Collection Services, LLC and its technicians from liability for the standard risks of blood collection and for laboratory handling and processing outside our control. Nothing here waives liability for negligence or misconduct, and nothing here limits any right you cannot legally waive under Florida law.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information at booking. Follow any fasting or medication instructions your provider gave you. Be present at the scheduled time with a clear, well lit place to sit. Tell your phlebotomist about fainting history, difficult draws, blood thinners, or anything else that matters before the needle comes out.
Scheduling, cancellations, and fees
The mobile service fee covers the visit itself and is separate from whatever your lab bills for testing. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead at no charge. Same day cancellations, no shows, locked doors, and missing orders forfeit the fee. If we cannot complete a draw for a clinical reason after a good faith attempt, we will work with you on a return visit.
Privacy
We handle your health information in line with HIPAA. We share it with the laboratory on your order and with your ordering provider, and otherwise only where the law requires it or you tell us to.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted here at the time of your appointment is the one that applies.
